If you live anywhere near the town of Hudsonville I’m sure you’ve been to the Hudsonville Fair. The whole week is a whirlwind of fun and adventure. Here are 4 things about the fair that you and your family are going to love!
Animals
Your kids will love the animal barns! They have a wide range from baby chicks to Clydesdale horses and everything in between. You can even hand feed a reindeer!
Events
The fair packs the entire week full of nightly events, including antique tractor pulls, modified tractor pulls, demolition derby’s, and motocross races. Grand stand admissions cost vary depending on the day ranging from $6.00-$9.00 for adults, $1.00-$2.00 for ages 5-11, and children under 5 are always free. In addition to grand stand events each day is filled with fun activities for kids, adults, and seniors.
Carnival Rides
What child doesn’t love a good carnival ride?! It’s a fun way from them to end the summer before going back to school. There are certain times in the day that you can purchase wrist bands if they plan to go on multiple rides.
Fair food
There is no other food in the world quite like fair food. No, it’s not good for you, however, it is ok to indulge sometimes in the things we love. Just make sure to brush your teeth after that elephant ear!
