High School Visual Arts Competition (Holland Area Arts Council)
150 E 8th St, Holland, MI 49423
March 9- April 29
Each spring the Holland Area Arts Council hosts the Annual High School visual arts competition. Thirteen local high schools are invited to participate in this competition where each schools arts teacher is allowed to submit 15 works from their students. The hope is to instill the fun of competition, joy, and challenge that art brings to our lives.
They choose a juror that will choose the pieces they like best to display in the exhibit so if you love art and want to support local students in their dreams of becoming artist you will love this event. This is a free event to attend where you will be able to enjoy light snacks and refreshments while you enjoy the art made by these talented high school students.
