Summer is now in full swing and that means it’s time to get out of the house and have some fun. Not far from Holland is the city of Allegan and they have this incredible library that hosts all types of different fun events for your children to participate in.

Cardboard Challenge

The Allegan Public Library is hosting an event that lets your child channel their inner creativity while they build something out of cardboard! Let your child’s imagination run wild with a simple piece of cardboard. You can build yours ahead of time or you can meet at the library and create something there!
Stuffed Animal Sleepover

The Library is offering to take your kids stuffed animals for a “fun” sleep over. Your children are welcome to take their favorite stuffed toys and leave them in the hands of Miss Aleesha for the night.

Lego Club

6:00 pm- 7:00 pm
Let your kids be little inventors at the Library. You are welcome to bring your kids between 6pm and 7 pm to let them design something from their imagination. They can race to complete the Lego Quest and take home a free book!
For younger inventors they offer Duplo’s instead of Legos.
End of summer reading dance party

The library will be hosting an end of the summer reading dance party! They will have glow sticks, disco lights, a fog machine, and kid friendly dance music with a live DJ.
They will be providing pizza and drinks as well.
