Everyone should be able to smile confidently

Studies show that Hispanic adults living in the U.S. are more likely to have untreated cavities, and the dental industry is aiming to change that. The toothpaste brand that’s a household name, Colgate, and The American Dental Association are teaming up to create the “Share More Time, Share More Smiles” initiative.

“Now through June 30, 2017, the awareness effort encourages families to share more time, moments and smiles together on social media using #TimeToSmile. Colgate will donate $1 for every image or video liked, shared or posted using #TimeToSmile to the ADA Foundation’s Give Kids A Smile® program*, which provides free oral health care, education, screening and treatment to underserved children.”

Everyone should be able to smile confidently

The idea is to start dental hygiene and the confidence to share their smiles when kids are young so they can grow into that routine and become adults with proper oral health. Colgate wants every child and adult to have confidence in their smile and pearly bright futures regardless of their race or any person’s access to dental care. The company wants to change the world one smile at a time and they’re asking for your help to do it. So take a picture of your beautiful smile and don’t forget to share it with all your friends on social media because we all deserve to have strong healthy teeth and to feel happy with our smiles.
